The film examines the economic and social development of Lhasa and the Tibet Autonomous Region as a whole, highlignting the region's achievements in infrastructure, ecological protection, culture, urban development and other areas. It uses documentary footage to show the happy lives of the local people and explore the region's tremendous changes since its democratic reform, and particularly since China's reform and open-up.
