Feeling China Pavilion 2018

The Feeling China Pavilion serves as an important platform for promoting Chinese TV and film products to the rest of the world. During this year's Sunny Side of Doc, the pavilion will provide opportunities for Chinese media agencies and other participants to showcase their products and communicate with each other. Through various promotion events, Chinese TV and film organizations and their products will enter the international market and leverage global resources and channels, enhancing cooperation between China and other countries.

 

 

Sunny Side of the Doc 2018 is pleased to foster new factual content development between Chinese and international production/ broadcasting companies, welcoming this year again the “Feeling China Pavilion” on the doc marketplace.

The series focuses on those Chinese food ingredients which have been taken abroad by Chinese and with distinct characteristics about hometown. This documentary is not just about reviewing ingredients, but mostly about recording humanistic stories behind ingredients. The documentary describes Chinese food ingredients in a global view higlighting the way the world mixed up with the traditional Chinese food culture. The first season of the documentary – Dried tangerine peel in Lingnan (the 25-minute version) has finished its first round shoots in 9 countries and districts in the world.
