China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC), established in Beijing in December 1993, is a comprehensive international cultural communication agency specialized in audiovisual program production, communication and operation, as well as Internet new media. With “Let the world understand China, let China understand the world.” as the goal, we dedicate to introducing the basics of Chinese history, politics, economics, science and technology, education and the lives of the Chinese people to the rest of the world. In the meantime, we present the fruits of foreign cultural development to China.

As one of first agencies in China that starts international co-production, CICC has established cooperative relationships with more than 70 TV organizations in over 30 countries and regions. We have co-produced and broadcast over 300 hours of high quality co-production TV documentary programs in some 200 countries and regions across the globe, attaining international reputation and over 80 international awards.

Since 2011, CICC has signed program provision and broadcasting agreements with 29 local media broadcasters outside of China to provide programs with a total length of 52 hours annually for broadcasting. So far, over 3000 hours of Chin-themed documentary programs have been aired in 62 countries and regions in America, Europe, Asia, and Africa in 12 different languages, including Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Swahili.
